WHAT THE CLIENT NEEDED
As he prepared to launch his first book, Troy Landrum, Jr. knew he needed a web presence to be a launchpad for his promotion campaign. The site needed to be to the point without a lot of fluff. Troy had a few websites of other authors that he liked, so he wanted to pull concepts from several of them to create a site that was uniquely his. Lastly, we were on a tight deadline as his book release party was rapidly approaching!
WHAT I DELIVERED
We opted for a single-page design concept that allows visitors to navigate to different sections of the page. The bold black and red color scheme matched his cover design and really helped communicate the vibe of his book. Troy had great author headshots done, so we wanted to feature those, as well. A few purchase links and some mobile optimization capped off the project. We launched in time for a great book release party!
