“HEY, I HEARD YOU BUILD WEBSITES…”
That’s how it all started, but let’s back up a bit.
In 5th grade, I built my first website after taking a class in web design. Despite having a blast, I never imagined I’d become a professional web designer. Throughout my career, however, I’ve found myself working jobs where I became the de facto “web guy.” The cycle was always the same: organization needs a website, organization can’t afford a high-priced designer, so they’d look around the staff team to see who was willing to give it a shot. Each time I was the only one brave enough to try it.
Over the past decade or so, that process has repeated itself numerous times. Because I was never satisfied with one of my sites looking “good enough,” I found myself pouring way too much time into what was supposed to be just a peripheral part of my job. Eventually, people began asking me to build their websites for them. I never set out to make a career out of web design, I just wanted to make beautiful websites and help people. Those two desires drive my business today.
These experiences have shaped who I am as a web designer. Today, I build sites for individuals and companies who are on a budget but still won’t settle for a second-rate website. What’s more, I am committed to excellent customer service. I specialize in designing sites that can be maintained with little to no technical knowledge. That means sites stay up to date and you don’t have to keep a web guy on payroll. It is possible to have a great looking site that you can manage yourself. Get in touch and let’s make it happen.
